Every Child Shines

Every Child Shines is a community movement to bolster kindergarten readiness in East Boston. We work in coordination with parents, community leaders, service providers, and government systems to advance our vision that every child is joyful, thriving, and ready to learn. We have three key strategies to advance this work.

Partnerships Across Sectors: Every Child Shines partners with families, organizations, and service providers across East Boston to improve systems and outcomes for children entering kindergarten and their families. We convene leaders across sectors and combine resources to effect lasting change.

Family Voice: We value the expertise of families and thus center family voice in our approach. Family involvement helps us stay focused and centered on what matters most.

Data-Driven Approach: We leverage research and data to identify factors that influence kindergarten readiness and prioritize our efforts.
