Early Learners is a state-of-the-art program that provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children thrive physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively.

Early Learners offers high-quality EEC-licensed programming including:
- Breakfast, lunch, and snack served daily
- Transportation to and from East Boston, Chelsea, and Revere
- Exceeds Massachusetts EEC regulations for child-educator ratios
- Nurturing, dedicated, and certified educators
- Curriculum aligned with Massachusetts EEC guidelines and NAEYC standards
- Grounded in developmentally appropriate practices and current research about brain development and early learning
Children ages 2 months - 6 years
Children must live in Boston in order to be eligible for the Social Sprouts Boston Pre-K Classroom at our Central Square location.
We welcome children and families of all backgrounds, abilities, and lived experiences.
Early Learners programming is available at four separate locations in East Boston:
- 1222 Bennington Street
- 425 Sumner Street
- 127 Marion Street
- 68 Central Square
Early Learners programming is for the full day (10 hours) and is available year-round
Central Square location: 7:30am - 2:30pm, extended day offered until 5:30pm
Bennington Street, Sumner Street, & Marion Street locations: 7:30am - 5:30pm
Financial assistance for child care is available based on state requirements. Contact our enrollment team for details about costs and payment options.

Boston Pre-K

East Boston Social Centers is now offering Boston Pre-K seats! We are excited to share our open seats with our families. Children who attend this program have proven more successful in Kindergarten and excel in all subjects.

Boston Pre-K offers

Students learn from BPS Focus Curriculum which exceeds national standards
6.5 hour day (7:30 am - 2:00pm), 180 days per year, at no cost to families
Wrap around care (2:00pm - 5:30pm) & education offered and Full day (7:30am - 5:30pm) care during vacation
