April Banuelos

Behavioral Health Specialist

My name is April Banuelos, I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and moved to Boston a little over three years ago. In spring of 2025, I graduated from Suffolk University with my Bachelors in psychology with a minor in advertising. I’ve always had the passion for working with young children. In college I spent my summers and regular school days working with children between the ages 6-8 which resulted in me going on field trips and creating lesson plans for the week. 

I recently started my position as our Early Relational Health specialist in May.  In my role, I am dedicated to making an impact on young children’s and caregivers lives by helping them form strong, stable relationships that support healthy brain development and reduce the impact of early stress.
