Marissa Rogers

Director of Children and Family Support Services

I'm happy to join EBSC as the new Director of Children and Family Support Services. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker who has dedicated my career to strengthening supports for children and families across the lifespan. With a B.A in Sociology and Master of Social Work degree, my path has woven through early childhood, behavioral health, and statewide systems-building. My work has always centered on helping families navigate their most difficult or precious moments with dignity and care, whether through direct service, psychotherapy, or program leadership. I'm passionate about building equitable systems that honor lived experience and create opportunities for healing and connection.

Before joining the East Boston Social Centers, I served on a leadership team, leading a national training strategy to embed trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices into youth-serving systems. I also worked with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health overseeing statewide maternal and child health programs and previously provided clinical support to children and parents experiencing trauma and transition. Across every role, I bring a deep belief that when families are supported and communities are connected, lasting change becomes possible.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing uno (or really any board game), attending my son's sporting events, and scrolling through Pinterest recipes!
